Is the Pandemic Over?
My husband and I are both in health care – him on the front line. We were the first in our community to be willing to test people and learn about Covid from science VS MSM. We watched the numbers in our community climb and our ICU fill up and the deaths increase feeling so helpless. We knew from the start that steroids (decadron) was the answer not ventilation. (Mark has been an Internal Medicine physician & ICU doc for 40 years).
Fast forward to today.
The good news is the numbers are going down in many cities and towns in the USA. We are also seeing greater reluctance to be tested. So we really don’t know the number of new cases of Covid. What we do know is the impact on hospitalizations, ICU beds and deaths.
In shasta county they are still high. We have one of the worse vaccination rates in the state and it shows in our hospital. And we have to realize the only people in the ICU, dying from Covid or suffering with the Long-Covid Complications are those who have NOT been vaccinated.

Pause here. This bares repeating.
UNVACCINATED PEOPLE are the ONLY people suffering or dying from this pandemic now. They are also the ONLY PEOPLE SPREADING IT to those who can’t get the vaccine or it won’t work in (i.e., immunocompromised folks).
From our research the Moderna & Pfizer seem to have the highest degree of protection, and have even been found to reverse some of the long-covid symptoms in people who have *already had covid.

*Yes it’s recommended that you still get the vaccine even if you’ve had covid – especially for those who had a mild case – the antibody counts are found to be insufficient. Get your test done to find out how protected you actually are).
Knowledge is Power. 2.26 BILLION does of vaccine have been given. Only 480mil are fully vaccinated. 6/2% of global pop is vaccinated. We need 70% for Herd immunity and to stop the virus from creating new varrients at such a rapid rate.
Please be mindful of those who are vulnerable, who don’t have good access to health care, can’t afford to go to a doctor, can’t afford millions in hospital bills, can’t afford to be off work for minimum of 2 weeks with positive covid test, etc.
We are either part of the solution or part of the problem. This is a GLOBAL PANDEMIC like none of us have ever seen before.
I don’t know about you, but I prefer to be part of the solution for carving the path for getting our freedoms back. The only thing in the way of that is the non vaccinated people at this point. The more you spread this virus, the more time and chances it has to mutate into even more virulent variants.
