WHAT SHE SAID

THIS IS WHAT SHE SAID™

Where Women’s Conversations Become Cultural Intelligence

WHAT SHE SAID™ is a living conversation about women’s lives—what we know, what we carry, what we question, and what becomes possible when we are given the space to speak without shrinking, performing, or translating ourselves.

Through intimate roundtables, provocative podcasts, immersive retreats, and cultural exposés, women explore the experiences that shape our lives—relationships, sexuality, culture, desire, safety, aging, identity, and the complicated realities of being a woman. Lived experience becomes more than conversation. It becomes insight. Pattern recognition. Cultural intelligence.

Because when women gather and tell the truth about their lives, we don’t simply hear stories. We recognize ourselves in one another. Isolation gives way to connection. Individual experience becomes shared wisdom—and shared wisdom becomes a catalyst for change.

And each woman leaves knowing a little more clearly that her voice—and her story—matter.

We begin to see what the culture has taught us not to notice.

FOUR WAYS INTO THE CONVERSATION

Enter wherever your curiosity leads you.

WHY I CREATED WHAT SHE SAID™

Women are hungry to talk to one another.

Really talk.

For more than forty years, my work has brought me into intimate conversations with women—about our bodies, our relationships, our sexuality, our families, our ambitions, our disappointments, our becoming, and the lives we are still figuring out how to live.

And through all of those conversations, I kept noticing something.

We are surrounded by communication—and still hungry for places where we can really talk.

Not perform.
Not polish the story.
Not offer the socially acceptable answer.
Not pretend we have it all figured out.

But sit together long enough to say:

This is what happened to me.

This is what I want.
This is what I’m struggling with.
This is what I’ve learned.
Does anyone else feel this way?

WHAT HAPPENS NEXT MATTERS.

Shame loosens. Curiosity opens. Laughter erupts.

A different perspective appears.

Sometimes we discover that something we thought was uniquely ours is actually part of a much larger human—or cultural—story.

NOT BECAUSE WOMEN NEED SOMEONE

TO TELL THEM WHAT TO THINK.

Quite the opposite.

I created What She Said™ because I wanted spaces where women could hear themselves and one another more clearly.

Where we can be curious instead of certain.
Where disagreement doesn’t have to mean disconnection.

Where wisdom isn’t delivered from the front of the room—

it emerges from the women sitting around it.

COME AS YOU ARE.

You don’t have to arrive with an answer.
You don’t have to tell your deepest story.
You don’t have to agree with everyone in the room.

YOU CAN SPEAK. YOU CAN LISTEN. YOU CAN LAUGH. YOU CAN PASS.

You can change your mind.

Curiosity leaves room for becoming.

THE CONVERSATION IS JUST BEGINNING.

Some conversations happen around a table.
Some through a microphone.
Some in places that invite us to step away.
Some ask us to look more closely at the culture we inhabit.

All of them begin

with curiosity.

Good questions. Honest conversation. A little irreverence.
And more than one way to join in.
