I will start out by saying that attending a week-long event is life changing. If you attend all the seminars, activities, and engage with other guests.... you will emerge transformed.
I have been attending the events since the start and here is the absolute truth ....
We have a lot of fun, create priceless memories, and learn so much about intimacy, sexuality, communication, etc.! But for me, the most valuable part of these weeks is the relationships we create. The people that regularly attend the events have become closer than family! We see each other in our rawest moments, and we don’t judge each other. We encourage, support and show love. We see each other’s authentic self. We laugh, we have fun, we have some deep conversations, we even sometimes cry and comfort each other. I know for a fact...that if you engage yourself with the people, attend the events with an open mind, and are willing to participate and learn.... you will never be the same! You will love yourself and others more than you thought was possible. As a bonus, you will make lifelong friends and have some of the best memories of your life!

In the past few years I have had the pleasure to accompany Exotic Lifestyle Events on not only one, but two trips to Hedonism II! Both times were absolute paradise! When I made the decision to sign up for the ELR Jamaica trip, I had just experienced a disappointing and painful heartbreak. At that time, I was going through the process of shutting down and building walls. I had planned on going on this trip as a big F*ck You to relationships and love, and to just be free!
The universe had other plans for me though. I realized this the moment I was in your presence. The energy and love that flowed from all of you was overwhelming yet much needed. With every circle, workshop, and time spent with everyone, the walls I started to build slowly came down. I was literally and figuratively naked.
For the first time in a long time, not only did I feel free, I felt carefree.
Thank you Juju for the invite and love, Cameo for the inclusion into the family and protection, and Dr. Nan and Dragonfly for getting me back on my path of self-exploration and self-love.

I have had the pleasure of going on several exotic lifestyle retreats with Dr Nancy and she has always went out of her way to make her guest feel welcome and comfortable.
Last year was a tough year for me losing my soul mate , Mary, and I went on the retreat. She found a way to lift my spirits and I appreciated that.

"How has ELR influenced by life?
What can I say about ELR? Dr. Nan and ELR has been an amazing force in my life. Being a part of this family has allowed me to let go of my fears and preconceived notions of not only myself but of people.
Growing up, and in my adult life, I never really trusted anyone because I was surrounded by people who claimed they loved me but did quite the opposite to show me that love.
When I first came to ELR I was a bit hesitant to let people in. Slowly but surely, I began to open up. This awakening took some time, but it happened in a very real and unusual way. I saw myself through others first – they accepted my faults as well as my strengths. It is this acknowledgement that made me realize that I have so much to offer to others, but first I needed to offer the world to myself.
I began to accept that I did not have to portray a picture of a perfect person and hide my hurt feelings deep inside. I could learn to love myself in all ways not just love the part of me that was there for others. I learned to accept the beauty outside, and more importantly, within.
Through ELR I learned to begin to trust again because I realized that the people that I am now joined together for life with genuinely want me to be happy and truly care about me. I still do not love, nor do I trust, very easily. It is a “prove yourself to me” kind of situation. However, time and time again my ELR family has proven themselves to me and I am eternally grateful to them and the life lessons and love that have been given to me."

She brings so much insight to areas that many people are hesitant to discuss or learn about themselves. She helps you find a place within yourself where you are comfortable and accepting.
